Footlocker
Doesnt care if employees steal from customers!

I am only doing this because i contacted footlocker and they seem to not care. A bored cust svc person told me they will probably just file my story away for future reference..
Well, i lost my visa check card about 3 wks ago..

A wk later, i found out that someone used my card at a footlocker location in philadelphia, pa (chelten ave location) and purchased $1100.00 worth of goods... A lot of sneakers, boots, jerseys for one person. This purchase cleared my checking account.

I am not rich and it is not funny to lose $1100.00 in one go. Anyway, my bank found out for me that all purchases were made the same day, at the same location just minutes apart. Also, my card was keyed in and it swipes!!! Phila. Police, my bank and family and friends seem to think a cashier must have been involved since the back of my card states "please ask for i. D". I thought this was a good security measure, little did i know, footlocker doesnt care about this.

Now i have worked in retail before as a cashier supv. And have caught c/c fraud before while doing cash reports and seeing the same card being used for multiple purchases the same day. Wouldnt someone have found this strange at that location? Not if they were involved i guess.

It would be different at a dept store maybe, but $1100.00 worth of goods at a footlocker??? How many pairs of sneakers can you buy, three minutes apart from each other? Anyway, my bank is investigating this for me and money has finally temporarily been credited to my account... Now you would ask me, why are you complaining?

I am doing this because i was still robbed, footlocker employees either robbed me or neglected to do their job, which would have been making sure they asked the thief for i. D (unless they knew
him/her). And, i want to make sure this doesnt happen to anyone
else, though i cant guarantee this being at footlockers mercy.
Well, this has resulted in me feeling violated, mad, upset, etc.
And i cant even get a stinking apology from this company...

I'm never going in any footlocker again to spend any money, since
they will use it to pay the neglectful idiots they hire...
Footlocker doesnt care, people!!!
