LivingSocial does not stand behind the vouchers they sell!

Shops, Products, Services

I purchased a voucher from LivingSocial good for one auto detailing from Six Star Customs. I was never able to schedule an appointment with Six Star Customs because I could only reach their voicemail. Left numerous messages but never heard from them. I complained to LivingSocial and all they could say is "Keep trying to get in touch with them". My voucher has since expired and LivingSocial then said "Well it's still good for the purchase amount". I purchased this voucher for the "deal" not to pay full price which would have cost me another $100! Not that anyone can get in contact with Six Star Customs anyway! I tried to explain this to LivingSocial and then they said "It's not our policy to give a refund". Hello??? I deal with Groupon all the time and have never had any problem they couldn't resolve easily. My advice, if you like purchasing these "deal vouchers" only do so from Groupon. Stay away from LivingSocial as they are totally untrustworthy and probably won't be around for very long.
