I purchased a "Livingsocial" deal on 12/19 for a Mani/Pedi. I called local business to schedule appointment on 12/28 I was informed by staff at business that "they are not making ANY appointments at this time". Business refused to get me any appointment at any time. I contacted Livingsocial staff, and since its past 5 days since the purchase date they will NOT refund me. Only give me $19 credit towards future voucher purchases. Once Livingsocial called the business they stated on their answering machine they would fit in appointments as best as possible. Thus meaning the business is "open for business"As long as the business is open for business Livingsocial will NOT refund any money, but business can say they are taking the vouchers to their discretion and you are stuck with a voucher you cant use at all or in a reasonable amount of time. I am wondering how Livingsocial is screening business, are they even large enough to accommodate the large number of new customers? My point is, I no longer with to redeem my voucher at this establishment mostly because I don't think I can use it in a reasonable amount of time and because of the type of service I received over the phone when I called on 12/28. Why would I subject myself to go redeem a voucher at a place that obliviously doesn't want my business. I work hard for my money and I want to spend it at local business that deserves it. Also I was shocked at the cold costumer service I received on the phone with livingsocial. I will no longer recommend livingsocial to any of my friends of family. Youve left a bad taste in my mouth livingsocial. Never again.
