Health & Comfort Shoes
Bad quality product / shoes

In November I got orthopedic insoles on my medical aid for around R3500, &was given a voucher to get health shoes as well, to wear with the insoles. I went to Health&Comfort Shoes in Greenacres Shopping Centre, PE & got my shoes, I paid in an amount as well and got a pair of Jarman Cooper Black Outdoor Sandals, costing R520. I wore the sandals twice around the house, the stitching started unraveling.
Being unhappy with this, for the price paid, my wife took the sandals back to the retailer in December waited over 20 mins to be served&was told that they could not check on their computer system for the sales slip/record, she was shouted at and told that she should know to bring a receipt, but the shoes were bought with a voucher which the medical aid (GEMS) issued, only redeemable at this store. The velcro strap has since broken off as well.@ over R500 a pair these sandals that are meant to assist with a medical condition of the foot arches being to high, to wear the orthopedic insoles in, it is ridiculous, that we were turned away when the assistant could clearly see that the stitching was loose & the shoes had not been worn. I am very unhappy with the service & quality of both.
