Ordered by phone 3 perfect Air Ultra units. Was told buy one, get one free. Third unit was supposed to be $17.98. Received on Oct. 23 with bill showing a charge of $79.78 for third unit.

I called them immediately to complain about the cost of third unit. Was told the $17.98 was to be in four installments. I told them I would be sending it back at that price.

On Oct. 29, one of the units stopped working. I called again, was told to take the Function Plate out of another working unit and try it in the one that had stopped. I did that but the unit did not work. I replaced the Function Plate back into its original unit. It wouldn't work when I turned it back on.

I called Thane Company back to let them know I would be sending all three back and wanted my Credit Card refunded the full $234.20. Was given a Routing Authority number and told to make sure that number was on at least 2 sides of the packaging. Told to take it to UPS or USPS and drop it off and make sure I got a tracking number. I did this and took it to the Post Office, who wanted/insisted I pay postage to mail it back.

I came home, called Thane again. Told them the post office would not ship the package, I needed a shipping label. They told me I would have to pay postage to ship their defective equipment. I told them I would send it back to them when I had a shipping label.

On Nov. 1, I called again to request a shipping label. They refused again, preferring to send replacement parts to fix this junk. I told them I did not want the defective products nor any replacemnts parts for a product that would be breaking down every week. I wanted to send this stuff back, my money refunded.

On Nov. 2, I called again to request a shipping label. They refused to send me one. Told me no money would be refunded until the products were back in their warehouse.

Dec. 1 I called again. Spoke with Asher, ID #5168, Floor Supervisor. He informed my of a deadline of Nov. 25 for the products to be back at the warehouse for any refund. He told me that one of the people I had spoken with had offered me a 25% discount on the first 99.95 but would have to pay the full 79.78 for the third unit, plus all shipping/handling charges to and from. That person didn't make me such an offer and I know I wouldn't haven't taken it if they had. Anyway, Asher said he couldn't help me and I would need to contact customer response@customerresponse.com. I have searched the web and can't seem to find Thane Perfect Air anywhere.

I filed a complaint Dec. 1 with BBBRENO.org. All I want is a shipping label to mail this junk back to them and my credit card refunded $234.20. I hope you can help.
