Refuses to give full refund

I ordered the products from Parthhope Home Products from a John on 11.1.09. I recorded the order. I ordered 2 units - 1 at full price and 1 at a discounted price. When I placed the order, John only told me that there was a non refundable shipping charge. He did not mention a handling charge. Before I authorized the charge, I told John I would giving the 2 unit away as a Christmas present and keeping the 1st unit for ourselves and asked him that if we were unhappy with the unit could I send it back for a full refund. He said he assumed so. We were not happy with our unit but when I went to return it, Parthhope Home products would only refund the discounted one. I shipped them both back under RMA # 30592. When I called for the RMA#, a Kena told me that I would receive my refund the day they received the products, less shipping and HANDLING Fee of $94.72. I said no that there was only to be a shipping fee and a small processing fee. There was no mention of a handling fee. I shipped both products back for $30.26 and they received the products on Wednesday, 1.20.10. I did not get my refund as promised. I called them this morning. After 2.5 hours and a call to my credit card company and on a conference call, they finally agreed to a refund of the full price, less the $94.00 shipping and handling charge. I argued with them all to way up to a manager by the name of Romina. No dice. She called back, after listening to the tape and said that the order taker did say that he “assumed” the they would refund the full amount but because he said “assumed” and not “yes”, too bad. As for the shipping and handling even though the specifically did not say handing, “processing” meant the same. $60.00 for the processing, now handling charge now applies. Would you help out. I am a disable Vet living off a pension. Thank you,
