Went to Kohl's for some holiday shopping this year. My location didn't have the sizes that I needed for two pajama tops for my mom. They recommended I order them online. As that was the 2nd of December, I was assured I would have ample time to receive the shipment and send it back out with the rest of my familys gifts. Fine, ordered the tops, used a coupon for 20 percent off, which saved me about a buck after shipping. A week later, my order is still in fulfillment. Ten days later, they cancel half of it, send the other half (which goofed up my coupon, so I paid more now than in the store), and even though Kohl's says I'll get it by the 18th (really cutting it close) Fed Ex says not til the 22nd. Extra burn. Popped in for something else, and the store has the tops i need now, even though they told me they wouldn't be getting anymore. I work in retail, so I get that things go wrong and you can't control everything, but really, does every single thing have to go wrong?
