Sent us email that we won sweepstakes

Scam, Fake

My wife and I received a notice in the mail. Stating that we have won $998,407.77 dollars in a sweepstakes that we never entered into. All we have to do is send in $24.87 to get our check? This is a very obvious bulk mail scam. I'm certain that some may fall for it.By the time they try to catch up to these crooks they will have already cashed in, and changed to a new post office box for the next scam. Why they are not shut down is beyond me. You think that the Nevada state attoney general would place a sting operation on these types of activities, going on in his state. And since this scam is done by mail, you think it would be a Federal crime too. More people need to post about this to help out others who may fall for this type mail scam.
