Anthony Buono Christian Singles Cruise Scam

I cant believe I was scammed by a catholic supposedly christian organization but it's the truth. I was a member of a singles dating website that was offering a Mexican cruise for singles. I thought that sounded like a fun way to meet people so I paid the deposit to secure the room by the specified date. Well, whenever I would log in to pay the balance, their website system would automatically try to charge me the full amount. Since I already paid for half, I didn't want to be charged the additional amount so I emailed their support center alerting them to the problem.

I sent 4 EMAILS and placed a number of phone calls to their 800 number (which had no one live, you could only leave a voicemail). No one would bother to contact me back! At about 60 days after my deposit, Anthony Buono finally emailed me back but instead of addressing the problem he just told me that I didn't get the rest of the balance in on time so I'm no longer allowed to go on the cruise AND he was keeping the ENTIRE deposit. I explained to him I'd been trying to pay for months and even have copies of my emails to him in my sent box etc but his only solution was to try and upsell me a different room on the boat at the tune of an additional fee of $1200! He was rude, arrogant and actually told me "I'm too busy to be wasting my time with you" (yeah, buddy, what about all the time my stupid emails and phone calls took to try to resolve this issue with you for the last 2 months? I guess no one else's time is important) He also tried to pressure me into the expensive room saying I only had 5 minutes to decide (because it was almost 5pm)

Well I wasn't about to pay double so I immediately called my credit card company but since the original transaction occurred over 60 days, they said they could not reverse any charges. I am convinced Anthony Buono KNEW EXACTLY what he was doing, purposely waiting 60 days before getting back to me so he could keep the deposit money. And think about how many deposits he's able to keep because of the glitch in his website!

The worst part was I had already scheduled the vacation time at work and was really looking forward to my first cruise.instead all I got was an erroneous charge. So beware of this scam!!
