Was contacted by Travel Services U.S. To buy into a what we thought was a great deal on a cruise. There were about 12 - 14 of us going. We paid our deposit of $94.00 per person & balance to be paid at booking date. We talked to several people with them prior to them calling us to book our cruise date. We told them we could only go on a certain date, Oct. 7th. 2011. When they called several weeks ago they said they didn't have any inside cabins for the cruise we wanted to go on, all they had available was oceanview cabins which they wanted a lot more money than what we were told the balance would be. Tried to get our money back from the credit card company but since October isn't here yet & we don't have anything in writing guaranteeing us that we would get an inside cabin on that date, we can't get our money back. We are afraid to give them any more money as both cruiselines have never heard of them. So now it looks like we are just out the money we've paid for the deposits. Why can't something be done to companies like this to shut them down? Very sad that companies can be so dishonest!
