I purchased a holiday gift account from Netflix for my sister. The account was for the duration of 3 months.
Near the end of the subscription, I called customer service to ensure the account would be cancelled. I was assured that the service would conclude and that my bank would not be charged past the set expiration date.
To my dismay, it is now October and my bank account has been charged for seven months.
As the account was activated under my sister's credentials, I was never made aware by Netflix that my account was being charged. The 14.95/mo charge was too small to keep track.
Netflix (www.netflix.com) has refused to refund me for the fraudulent charges to my bank account. This organization relies on defrauding their customers.
Please - take your business elsewhere.
