HMM Awards Hollywood CA Brent Harvey & Jim DeCicco LA Superior Court Case # BC 398485 for Prosecution of multiple counts

This is real simple readers. Just take a look at the ugly side of Hollywood and see what happens when you share with once trusted associates your business model. Here we have two competing programs, nearly identical in format. We have two sets of Producers, one with an ACTUAL NUMBER of 20 years experience. The other claims 25 years of experience with an ACTUAL NUMBER of 2 years experience.

What it all comes down to is this: The 20 year old LA Music Awards were the first one to produce and create for the commercial marketplace, an awards program for independent artists. This community of artists and bands is very small and cannot support nearly identical programs on the same night, let alone on the same circuit. Why? Because only the most elite artists are seeking recognition for their work. That is what makes our program unique.

The willful and deliberate actions done by the producers of the event (s) in question, to UNFAIRLY COMPETE with the established LA Music Awards event by scheduling their event on the same night, at the same time, in THE SAME CITY area, is just one of the many counts we are suing Mr. Brent Harvey and Mr. Jim DeCicco for.

The LA Music Awards are proud to have always welcomed fair competitors in the awards show industry. We have helped assist many of them with their productions over the years. Brent Harvey and Jim DeCicco were paid associates of ours who had on-going access to our files over several years. These are files that are considered by the courts and the judges to be STOLEN WORK PAPERS. They include: Financial Statements, Bank Records, Customer and Contact Lists, Graphic Designs, Lay-Outs and Schematics, Scripts, Written Formats, Dialogue Sheets, Phone Lists and E-Mail Addresses, Promotional Materials and many, many other tangible items that belong to the Los Angeles Music Awards and its producers. The defendant Jim DeCicco has yet to return those items to the Los Anegeles Music Awards.

It is our contention that Brent Harvey and Jim DeCicco are guilty of theft on a massive scale. Mr. DeCicco's actions in the summer at the beginning of this legal battle were reprehensible to say the least. Brent Harvey was personal friends with the Founder of the LA Music Awards for 30 years. His actions have been beyond deplorable.

The LA Music Awards and our attorneys expect to prevail at trial in 2011.
