No wonder Netflix.com is killing Blockbuster's awful attempt at on-line/by mail video rental. I tried the two week "FREE" trial, only to find that they continued to send movies even after I had cancelled. I tried to call to ask them not to send any more movies, only to find that I could not get an answer at their toll free customer service line. I held for over an hour.

Three weeks after cancelling, I received an e-mail apprising me that I was being charged $23 for two movies that I never received. I replied to the e-mail, only to find that reply e-mails are not deliverable. I again tried to call their 1-866-692-2789 customer NO-service number. I held the line for over two hours on three seperate occassions during the week and normal business hours. As I write this, on 11/10 at 12:35 PM, I am on hold listening to their incessant recording of movie trivia that loops every two minutes. I have been waiting for forty-three minutes.

I found that they had indeed charged my credit card for the two movies. Whatever you do... Don't get suckered in by the two week "NOT FREE" trial. Once you give them your credit card number... They've got you and won't let go.
