Viagogo
Sold concert tickets that were not available and I was only told of this 3 days before the concert. I have not been offered a refund

Last September, I purchased, at enormous expense, flat seating tickets for a concert in Dublin on 9th of December.

Heard nothing further from Viagogo despite sending email reminders as the time drew near.

Until today that is-3 days before the concert date-
I have today recvd an email from viagogo blithely telling me that the tickets that I purchased are no longer available BUT viagogo's wonderful guarantee scheme will allow me to have tickets-the only snag is that they have to give me one less than what I purchased and the locaation of the seats in the venue are way back in the tiered seating area.

All that and they will give me a refund of 80 for any disappointment I might feel at being deprived of one ticket that I have purchased and paid for and that the remaining two tickets are for seats in a much inferior area of the theatre.

Raging doesn't even come close to how I feel: if I had been notified of the problem before this, I could have arranged to obtain alternative tickets. However, it is now too late. All I can hope for is that they will refund my money.

Viagogo is registered in Switzerland: the lady in the UK consumer affairs office said that the uk consumer office used to handle "all viagogo complaints" until they moved their registered office to Switzerland. Viagogo should be avoided like the plague if you want any sort of decent ticket service. If you havent got tickets from primary source my advise is DO NOT BUY FROM VIAGOGO.

It remains to be seen whether I will get my money back (almost 1k)
