That is my confirmation number. I called UPS Freight on 11/2 and scheduled a pick up for 11/4. I had to take the day off from work, I was told the pick up would occur between 10am and 12pm. At 12pm they still had not arrived so I called customer service. I was placed on hold while they "called the terminal". I was told that they needed a "street truck" and a street truck was not available at the moment but they could pick it up by 3pm. Okay, fine. I asked if they could please call me if they were not going to be there by 3pm. 3pm came. They had still not arrived. I called customer service again and was placed on hold while they "called the terminal". I was now told they would make the pick up by 4pm. I asked why I wasn't called as I had asked to be... And they had no answer. 4pm came. Still no pick up. I called customer service again... As I had scheduled my day around their "pick up" I really needed to leave to get to an appointment. Again, I was placed on hold while they called the terminal. I was told the driver was one town away and I was next but they couldn't tell me when he would be here. After I hung up I realized it might be more helpful to talk to the TERMINAL myself. I called back and was told they don't have incoming lines but that I could be connected. Fine. I was connected to the terminal. Don't know which one. Whichever one services Union City, NJ and spoke with DAVE. He was sarcastic and unapologetic. He told me customer service should never have told me 10-12 as a pick up time in the first place. Okay. Is that my fault? Also, he said they've called for you 57 times today. I said... No it really wasn't 57 times... It was 4.3 times when the driver had not shown up when I was told he would... Personally I don't feel this is unreasonable. If I was told he would be there... Why wouldn't I call to find out why he wasn't? AS it STANDS... It is 4:45 and I am still waiting for them. I took a day off from work and now I am super late for an appointment I had scheduled. Really heinous. I hope I never have to deal with them again.
