We bought a $2100 bunk bed on July 28, and one reason we purchased from them was their advertisement of delivery and set up since my husband is overseas and not available to set the bed up. About a week before delivery, the delivery company said that they received a note from Cymax dated Aug. 6 that said to no longer set up the bunk beds. I called Cymax and they said they will call the delivery company to remind them of the agreement to set up the bed and were not aware of any memo. When the bed arrived, the men did not set it up. I had my father-in-law travel 3 hours round trip from out-of-state to set up the bed. It took him 2 1/2 hours to set it up. I requested free under bed drawers (a $415.00 value) for my hassles, and I would be a happy customer. They refused, but offered $100.00 refund (they said the setup service I paid for was $84.00) and a 5% coupon toward my next purchase from them. I asked for a $300.00 refund along with the $84.00 refund to keep me from contacting the BBB for fraud and false advertising. They refused the offer and said they did the best they could do. I still haven't received the refund, either.
