Terrible landlord/slumloard

I rented from this man for almost 6 months. We came down with bed bugs which he refused to make sure the problem was taken care of in a timely manner. Scheduled sprayings were not followed through with, proper treatments were not administered, we were left to do things ourselves. After all the money we spent on taking care of the problem, he got mad because we didn't pay his rent on time. He asked us to leave. After we had gone, he started saying that we stole bathroom shelves (come on? Wooden shelves cut from 1x6), and vandalized his property. Let me tell you, I cleaned that house spotless, even though he was a jerk to us. I left various pieces of furniture that were bed bug infested. And there was nothing wrong accept normal wear and tear of renters. I would not ever rent from this man. He is a scam artist who does not care about the health and well being of his tennants. He will try to hold things over your head, he will lie to your face, he will act innocent. His faithful companion john wilman will do what ever it takes to help him, or to spy on you for information. Neither of these two men shoule be trusted with your health and well being!
