Michael Wood - Four Season Rental Deadbeat Landlord, promised to fix many things upon lease signing and did absolutely nothing!

This man was the owner of Four Season Rentals and had a small house to try to rent in Donnelly, Idaho which is near the new Tamarack Resort. I came to him with good credit and high recommendations from another landlord in McCall. There were various things wrong with the house, starting with the horrible condition of the walls and ranging to the electric heaters and the stove having no knobs, the place was in very poor condition but he promised that all of it would be taken care of in a timely manner. This man never once followed through on a single item that he said would be fixed. Towards the end of the lease, I informed him a couple of months early that I would like to be out one month earlier than the actual termination date of the lease. He told me that many people had contacted him regarding rentals and that it would be fine because he would not have a problem re-renting the house early.in the next two months, I kept contacting him telling him that it would be fine to show the house anytime he wanted to prospective renters. He kept put it off saying that he would rather wait until closer to my move out time. He never once took anyone there which did make me suspicious. Sure enough, when it came time to for me to get my deposit back, he refused saying that it was because I left early! What a jackass!
