Errant Payment Statement - Green Tree Services

I just received my monthly mortage statement that included a principal and interest paid in 2012. While the statement does show the correct amount of interst paid. It did not show the correct amount paid on the principal.in essence, they say that I make no payments in 2012 on my mortage and now owe $18,653.60 in payments. I have retrieved my Bank statements showing payments made in 2012 to counter their tatement, but am concernthat that i may never get to the bottom of what is truely going on with Green Tree. What should be my next course of action?
