Be forewarned. Freedom Mortgage is not a Mortgage company. They are a provider of information. They do not directely give you a loan. When I first contacted Freedom, I gave them the following info. Five years ago I was forced into bankruptsy by Country Wide Mortgage, a bunch of thieves that the goverment finally closed down, I also gave them my address, that I lived in Villages of Oreo in Delray Beach Florida, all olf my credit info.
They said every thing looked good and there does not seem to be a problem, but they needed $ 375.00 for an apprasal before they could finalize the loan. Well, I agave them the $375.00. Months went by (3 12) nothing!!! No calls, no return calls. I finally got a letter in the mail. I was denied the loan, not by them, but by FHA. They never told me they don't give loans, they are a provider of information. Then the appraser came to my condo, he told me he had 5 apprasals that day. Five mind you in one day in one city in the US. This company advertises nationally collecting millions and millions of dolars in apprasal fees. I called 2 apprasal companys to find what their fees were., $ 250.00 one $ 275.00. I was charged $ 375.00 Who gets the extra $ 100.00 or $ 125.00?? It appears to me, Freemon Mortgage Corp is in the apprasal business. Five in Delray Beach alone!!!
In the letter I was informed FHA does not give mortgages to any of the 3,000 plus condos in Villages of Oreo, also the time limit of bankruptsys is seven years no five as I was told. They should have told me when I first applied for the montgage. But, they satisfied their intent, to get my money ($375.00) and not to get me a mortgage. I think I found another COUNTRY WIDE MONTGAGE COMPANY. Don't say you were not warned!!!
