Wood for floor has cracks and large color variation, steps have ridges at nose peices - Home Legend

I bought and paid for a bamboo floor. The color variation ranged from light to dark when I complained about it the answer that I got back was, "That is just they way it is." The boards that are laid end to end leave a gap, when we dust mop we have to vacuum to get the dust out of the cracks. When I complained I got the answer, "It will close up this summer when it gets hot and the wood expands." I have two steps going down to a sunken living room, the nose piece is not the same thickness as the floor boards, leaves a ridge. They removed the bi-fold doors to the closets, they never did get them so they open and close properly. Don't do business with Empire Today.
