BOA, Bank of America Stealing money while hurting my families credit Pahrump

Bank of America constantly wanted to put holds on my deposits, finally going over 2 week holds on deposits when all were good. This made it hard to feed my family, especialy with a toddler and baby in the house.

One time I was a bit in the negative when I tried to make a deposit to bring it in the posative and to buy food for my family, the wanted to hold for several weeks, I asked if they could let me have some to provide for my family, they told me no, so I then said let me have my check back, I would go pay the fee somewhere for check cashing as I needed food for the family, and also that this had been going on to long and that I would be closing out my accounts with them.

Later my husband went by to bring the account up to a zero balance and to close out the account. They then told him the account was closed and they he couldn't do anything, which, fine if they didn't want the money no skin off us.

Now a year and a half later they have the nerve to have collection agencies calling us up telling us that we are overdue on bringing the account up to balance that with fees and such we now owe them over $600, when during the whole time we never recieved an email or actual mail stating anything was owed.

I, and several others believe, including former bank emplyees of theirs, and from othe banks, that since they turned down money at time of owed they no longer have claim to the money.in the meantime we found this to seemingly be affecting outr credit which also hurts as we tried to make it good and they turned it down.

We shouldn't be responsable now or hurt in credit scores since they turned offer of bringing balance up to 0 at the time of closing the accounts.
