I listened to a Network for Good teleconference in 2007 and decided on that day that Network for Good was not a company our charity wanted to have business dealing with, they had too many opportunities for waste, fraud, and abuse. The website extracts a 4.75% fee from paypal and debit or credit card donations. There is a written statement that Network for Good and it's parent for profit company can divert the donation to a nonprofit of thier choice. The donor who donates in January has no knowledge at the time of the donation that they were a victim of deception and their donation was given to another charity.
Without our knowledge Friends in Action, Georgia is listed on the Network for Good website.network for Good is soliciting donations from the general public by placing a donation button under the name of our nonprofit organization.
Friends in Action has a no credit or debit card donation policy. We have operated with this policy in place for years and continue to do so today, February 1. Friends in Action located in Georgia, U.S.A., administration fees to operate the nonprofit are less than 1.0%. We are proud gain donors trust by operating with one of the lowest administration fees in the entire United States. Our organization has never given another agency, company, or nonprofit organization verbal or written or legal authority to solict funds for our organization or to act in authority of any kind to obtain donations for Friends in Action. We do not allow other nonprofit companies to request donations on our behalf, nor do we allow other nonprofit companies to solicit funds electronically or to solicit funds by any other methods, for our nonprofit organization. We respect our donors privacy and do not sell donor names or addresses to other companies or nonprofit organizations. We continue to operate at the highest degree of integrity and good business practices.
