Just a fair warning to everyone... Please do yourself a favor & find another place to live. I found this place & I must say, it was totally misleading. About 80% of the things advertised for this complex is a complete LIE!!!

I'll give some examples for those of you who may be a little on the fence about moving in here, because I live here currently & don't intend on re-newing my lease anytime this millenium.

For example, there was a socket letting out sparks & flames. I called emergency maintenance who told me that it was not an emergency & to just turn the light switch off that coincides with it. There aren't many outlets to choose from so you can probably tell where the dillema lies.

Next, I paid a check for my washer/dryer & specifically wrote on the check w/d (in the memo section). Because I was off with rent $75 dollars, they came in my house, took both the wet & dry clothes & piled them on my table which had a few crumbs on it from my kids breakfast. (You can imagine how pissed I was to come home & find that hefty pile of clothes just sitting on my table). On top of that, they also made a big hole in the wall & knoecked off the door knob which they said we had to repair ourselves!

Furthermore, I smelled a gas leak in the house & called emergency maintenance to come & check it out. They came 4 hours later, turned off the water heater (which means we were left with cold water for a day & a half). The maintenance people at that point discovered a leak from the upstairs bathroom to the water heater that made the ceiling brown-colored & said they'd be back to repair it. It has been at least 3 months, & no repairs.

Management is completely unresponsive! Any complaints I've ever made have gone un-noticed. I've complained about management knocking on my foor at 11:00P.M. At night to ask questions on what me or anyone in my household may know about crimes in the neighboorhod. After waking my two infant children up by banging on the door like maniacs, they discovered that we had nothing to do with it & maybe the criminals ran past our side of the neighborhood to get away from being caught.

I could go on — on about this place, but I'm sure that my report as well as the dozen others can sway your vote. There are a lot of other places that will rent to you for around the same price, if not cheaper, & will treat you with respect & courtesy. Please take heed to my warning. Do not, i repeat, do not step foot in this dirty, false advertised, ghetto, bug infested, poorly managed, falling apart neighborhood that I moved into. If only I had the same warning, I could have saved myself the trouble & headache of being here for a year.
