Tried to rip me off for $3970

I recieved a letter in the mail from anthro group, inc. The letter informs you that you have won a home improvement grant. What got me was it stated we have ramdomly selected people from reader digest or publisher's clearings house. Well i belived it because i am register with pch. The check that was sent to me looked like a real check, now i know the checks they send that clearly states void, well this check was done perfect.

I am so hurt and disappointed that this has happen to me. I really don't want anyone else to go through this. Whom ever is behind this scam needs to be put away. I have an appt to meet with my bank this morning and lord know's what's going to happen. I am hoping that i will be able to fix this. I will never be a victim of a crime like this again. If pch is not at my with a check i will never ever accept another in my name. I am really scared because whom ever this folks are they have my address. I hope this issue is fixed and never happens again. Thanks in advance to this matter.
