Stamps.com Won't let you cancel! Unless you say this... Los Angeles California

Signed up for a Free 30 Day Trial in May of I got the supplies from the company, then printed out 12 Stamps using the 5.00 of free postage included, I only used it once. I thought that if I don't use it they won't charge me. So I let it go, Just yesterday in August, I get a Past due notice for $31.00, so I thought fine I'll pay, and cancel. I called stamps.com (which after many calls figured they were located in India, I guessed because every time I called, I had someone with an accent.) And told them to cancel the account, so they did, but not without raising the charge to $63.00! I only printed 12 Stamps!!! Even The Guy said so. So then I came Here and read about all the other complaints on stamps.com, i figured out that they cave in if you email them this phrase. So I emailed them this: " The BBB will be notified about this scam you are
running if I have to pay $63.96. I would shut down if my complaints have
reached 1319." And Guess what, Today I got an email that said this:

"We appreciate your concerns and we wish to help you resolve this matter.
After reviewing your Stamps.com account, we have decided to forgive the
outstanding charges for this account as a courtesy."

So if you want to stop the charges, just tell them that the BBB will be involved.
