Not charging a mother with neglect

On Friday, October 2nd, DYFS was notified to 2 children (ages 6 and 10) being home alone all night after-school in a residence without any method to call-out in case there is crisis as a result of insufficient operating phones in your home. Having talked to my boy your day this happened, I had been ready to keep in touch with the joining officer which was delivered to watch about the kids before caseworker came, and required they preserve me educated on which was occurring. I gave him my title and quantity and requested that somebody retain in contact with me (I reside more than 700 kilometers apart) but I had been never approached. The next Friday I approached the DYFS office myself and was informed somebody might pull-up the info and contact me back. Used to donot get a phone untill 24 hours later, where stage I had been informed the situation could be shut because of the kids mom informing the caseworker she'd be obtaining a sitter for them. On a single day I talked towards the caseworker, my kids were again house alone after school for one hour and that I was informed by my oldest boy that despite the fact that they'll be likely to a sitter after-school, they'll still need to wander home alone and remain there before caregiver comes to choose them up, that could vary from thirty to sixty minutes every single day. Additionally, the items the caseworker explained my boy stated and just how he thought concerning the scenario would be the opposite of anything he's actually believed to me concerning the scenario in the first-time it just happened. I'm thinking about continuing to try a-line of conversation using their workplace to convince them to maintain the situation available but I've every purpose of getting this to a different degree to be noticed.
