Unauthorized credit card charge

I obtained a phone solicitation on 10/3/09 from "Publisher's Service" offering 36 months of Learn Journal for $89. As a swap I had been designed to obtain $300 of free gasoline along with a yearis membership to Popular Science maazine. Apparently I'd get a $25 gift-card to some gasoline business within the email each month to get a year. I gave out my creditcardnumber after which determined I didn't wish to accomplish it. I told the girl that used to do not approve a charge and described that I had been likely to perform a small study on the web into this "present" before I approved the cost. Used to do not hand out the card termination or even the 3-digit range about the back of my card. I expected for that title of her organization as well as for a phone number to ensure that I really could contact them easily desired to take their present and approve a cost. She offered me a toll-free amount, and that I hungup. About three minutes later she named me back and explained that because it was a Sunday, their customer support department. About one hour later I named my credit card organization to stop the card in case they attempted to demand my card. They'd previously experimented with demand my card. The cost was rejected since the cost might have set my card within the restriction. To sum up, this Writeris company experimented with cost my card-even though I'd particularly informed the girl that I had been not permitting a fee for the main reason that I needed to complete some study into this present these were producing.
