A warning to all about USA Collections. If you get a phone call from this collection agency saying that you owe money on a magazine account you opened be sure to do your own digging. After I received a call from this company and man named "John" I did my own digging. He says he is with United Reader Services this is FALSE. I called the company myself to find out what the issue was because I did order a subscription but not through their company. After talking with them the told me that I was correct and that I had not ordered a subscription through them ever. However United Reader Services did tell me that they don't even use an outside collections agency and that they have their own. They also informed that this Company and Person has been calling multiple people giving the same story saying they own money and if they don't pay now that it will go on your credit. DO NOT fall for this. File a report with the police if this happens. Also a piece of information, ALL collection agencies must provide you with company's number if you want to contact the company yourself and they must provide you in writing all of the account information if you request it by LAW. If any say they can't it's probably a scam. Be careful
