Verizon cell phone
Restocking fee

Mobile Phones

I have used Verizon for years and never really had a problem. My two year contact was up so my husband and I decided to go get two new phones. We both started having problems with our phones such as dropped calls, voice mail would not work, and the phones would not always ring for incoming calls. The calls would show up as missed calls. We did take the phones back within the time range of returning. I was told I would have to pay a restocking fee of 35 dollars per phone. I did not understand why I had to pay a fee for a bad phone. They should be paying me a refund for the phone. I also told them they didn't need to be restocking a bad phone. If they are restocking the phones, they must be selling the returned phones to someone else. Maybe that is why my phone is not working well. I may have received a restocked phone. They worked on our phones and we are going to try the same phones. I refuse to pay 70 dollars fee to return phones. I still can't understand why the customer is asked to pay a company for producing an item of poor quality. I was willing to pay the difference for a more expensive phone to see if that would help. They have a 100% satisfaction policy. I left not satisfied.

Dont be fooled by Verizon's commercials "Can you hear me now?" is because you get so many dropped calls and their phones are crappy and don't work the commercial should add " Are you there"
