Off code meats used to make mince

On April 6/09 i reported my meat dept. Manager for using off code beef for making hamburg mince. The store manager and the HR manager sent the union steward and the assistant store manager down to the back room to investigate. The investigation was covered up by saying they found no wrong doing. The store manager proceeded to interogate me about a single rib chop that i had wrapped that morning. I asked the manager how it was investigated and was told, never mind, it was and it is overwith. I had a mental breakdown that day and ended up in the hospital. I am still off work.in Feb. 2010 a co-worker from the same dept. Came forward and backed up my allogations about the way things were in the meat dept. And the off code meats being used. The company's district manager Dan Roach, HR manager Steve Jones and the Union Rep. For UFCW local 175/633 Mark Stockton did a full investigation. What happened to that investigation? Was it ever reported to the CFIA? Should the consumer not be aware of what goes on. Should the company and union be allowed to keep this matter under the table? As a consumer and meat dept. Worker i think the public has the right to know when this type of investigation takes place.
