I had a bank account with fifth third and also a secured credit card with them. I switched banks to regions and tried to continue to pay the credit card but they would not let me make a payment since i do not have fifth third anymore, they said i cannot make a payment until it shows up late but they charge me a late fee for being late and also a fee for not paying through my bank account. It now shows up on my credit report and i have not made any payments to them recently
