Miscellaneous

I had a debit card purchase post to my checking account in the amount of $2.47. Immediately called USAA and cancelled my card and reported the charge as fraudulent. I then called the 800 number for customer care page, or in my case "wiregoals.com." I provided the woman who answered the phone my now deactivated credit card number. She informed me she could not locate my account info because my credit card was closed. How could she know it was closed unless she attempted to charge it again? This is the definition of a phishing scam.
