Ripped me off with DDRI ELEMENT5 scam

The apparently "ghost" company DealAfterDeal has a website that looks legitimate (http://deal-after-deal. Stores. Yahoo.net/100387.html).

While attempting to purchase one of their software "products", I followed the procedure to place my order.

I was led to the purchase order form (which is at an https:// "secure" URL), I filled it out including my debit card number, and submitted it.

Immediately, the purchase order form "bounced" with an "error" message saying "File access error in First Data database (code 20)", which seemed suspicious for all the information in the form was correct.

I called their "toll-free" number (800-800-0750), which didn't work. I called their "local" number (310-322-7100) where a woman answered saying it was the wrong number.

I emailed them and the message bounced as undeliverable to an inexistent address.

Then I went to see my bank account online and realized that some one had made a charge for more an amount of money under the "description" of CHKCARD DRI*ELEMENT5. COELEMENTNFOMNUS".

I called immediately depleted the checking account to almost bare-bone by transferring most of the money in the account to one of my savings accounts, none of which can be accessed with the compromised debit cardd number.

I then called the bank, had the debit card closed and filed a claim for a fraudulent charge to my checking account.

Subsequently, I made a google search on DRI ELEMENT5 and 321 hits came back; all them on page 1 were about rip-off complaints.
