Don't Buy from companies who are not located in your STATE

We purchased new windows from these people in 1998. Fantastic heat cutting windows, best on the market, LIFETIME WARRANTY we were told. They were great for a few years. Maybe 4 years on one set then the seal went out, Was told the company went out of business so didn't report it until I found out they were still in business approx. 2 years ago we finally got them to come out and replace it. That took me a year of phone calls before it was completed. When they were here I told them about the large living room window whichhad started to do the same thing but they were just the installers. I reported the second and third windows that did the same thing on Jan 4. I have made 17 phone calls to the these people and I have spoken to Jeff three times and Dave, one time, Craig, two times. The rest of the time I leave a message with Deidra who I am not sure gets the message across or voicemail which never getsa return call. You may as well not leave a message. I have been fed a load of bull each time I have talked to this Jeff. A different lie each time. He has been going to order the windows eachtime I have spoken to him. I asked him why they come to states and sell windows when they can't get anyone out to replace them in a timely mannor. "We have people doing work all over ND". Well why can't they get to my house then? Next call is that the Minnesota branch has our area now and maybe they can get someone out to take care of it., next call is that we have crews in Minot area and we should be able to get this done before the cold sets in, that was three weeks ago. No call back today when I called AGAIN. Do you think i am being treated fairly or do i have a reason to put in a complaint? Next step is the complaint i am going to put in with the better business bureau. People, please do not do business with this company. If i had access to all the complaints about this company back when i purchased these windows, i would never have let the salesman in my home and would have saved myself a lot of stress.
