Lifetime Window Guarantee Never Received and Window Trim Fell Off

We purchased windows from Sears about ten years ago. When we agreed to get these windows SEARS offered a lifetime guarantee. We never received the guarantee at this time but up until about two years ago we had SEARS replace and fix some of the windows in our house.

We recently had a horrible hail storm and our screens and windows were damaged. SEARS is now saying that we must provide them with the information of lifetime guarantee in order to replace our screens and fix our windows.

My mother went to open one of these windows the other day and the entire piece of wood at the bottom of the window fell off exposing the edge of the glass. My mother almost lost her hands due to these windows.

SEARS does not stand behind their windows, and their windows are very dangerous. Imagine if that was a child opening that window, that child probably would not be alive today. This is a very serious matter that SEARS must deal with.

I am sure that we are not the only people who have had this problem. Do not trust SEARS and do not subject yourself to a potentially dangerous situation.
