Samsung
Lawsuit

Miscellaneous

On Samsung's own website there is a page designated for a lawsuit made against them pertaining to certain television models becoming faulty. My DLP television recently stopped working and so I did my research and found on their website mind you, that all HLR models were covered for repair free of charge. I spoke to 5 different people regarding this matter and were given the run around. One employee I spoke to finally took the time to look up the lawsuit and assured me that I would be covered for the repair and set up a service order for me. When I contacted the repair shop they said there were no notations that I was covered and so I called Samsung back. It took another hour and a conversation with two new people in the executive department to tell me that I was not covered. When I asked to speak to someone in charge I was told the Supervisor could not be spoken to directly and that I would be contacted in 24-48 hrs. This is has been a nightmare! How can a company continue to operate with customer service like this. I can't even speak to someone who knows what there talking about and help me to resolve my issue. What do I do next!? I'm so frustrated!!
