Fraudulently took money from my checking account.internet

I applied for a credit card and was offered 10 days of free long distance which i did not need or want. Approximately a week later i cancelled the credit card, but 1rate.com went on for 2 years taking money from my checking account even after i finally found out what they were and requested cancellation. On my third call to then I was told they of cxourse had no record of my eer calling them. I also had my bank cancel this debit. And it was cancelled for a couple of months and then continued. I never needed ths service and told the credit card. So, as i have a cell phone that provides me wth free long distance. What a ripoff!!! How is this co. Able to continue to do this t consumers unimpeded?
