They claimed to be from the US grant and said the government is going to give my 7,770 dollars. I did the transaction and then they claimed that i needed to pay a 600 dollar state tax to recieve the money. I thought this was suspicious and googled about grant scams and this one matches the scam descriptions. I lost 280$ in the process. I confronted them about them being a scam and they hung up the phone.
