Ripoff - Tried to offer me a grant in the amount of 25,000 dollars from the federal government and in the same breath need to verify my checking account number which they already had a portion of the number

This person using the name Michelle Williams, claimed I was one of four hundred people that had been preselected to recieve a 25,000 dollar grant from the federal government. However, she could not tell me which department of the federal government she was calling on behalf of.

The scary part of this call was once she verified my address she actually read the first part of my checking account number to me over the phone. That was when I got nasty and then hung up!

She would not give me a phone contact number and or a physical address, just a street name which is listed and city & state & zip. The ZIP code she gave me for St. George, Ut is really a ZIP code in a city called POND GAP, West Virginia.

Watch out for this one, it is a total RipOff.
