This morning, Bank of America emailed me to verify a charge to my card. I didn't recognize the vendor and did a search and that's when I discovered the complaints on Scambook. The amount was small but I think they were testing the system so that if the charge went through they might come back with higher charges. I check my account often but this charge came through last night. Thank goodness for Bank of America's fraud department and their alerts. This has only happened to me once before and both times it was after I had used my card at a gas station.
