Cancelled contract and took money from checking account

I moved from Corpus Christi to Arlington, Tx. And had my Directv account suspended untill October 9th. I called in early September to verify this and for some reason my account was closed and my checking account was overdrawn by 412.15. This happened on the 5th of September. Yesterday on the 15th of October I was informed after MANY phone calls and faxed bank statements that it was their error, but that early cancellation fees cannot be refunded??? They stole $440.00 from me after admitting it was their fault and offered me free services instead of the money due me! The first payroll check that I got on my new job went to pay overdraft charges and the original $440.00 that I was wrongly charged in the first place!!
