Sears dishwasher - Kenmore Elite dishwashe

Called sears to install drain hose on dishwasher. T. When I called they told me my charge would be $75.00 parts and labor were extra. They Scheduled an appointment for the next day between the hours of 1-5 pm. (9/20). They never showed. The next day they were here at 9:20 am. They repair man said he couldn't do what I asked because he was not a plumber Took one look at my washer and said if I got ten years out of it I should be happy and maybe think about purchasing a new one. 5 years ago I had a flood due to they drainage hose and just wanted to prevent another flood by a bad hose. He never checked out my dishwasher and said my charges would be $ 98.00. If this isn't a scam to put on seniors I don't know what is. Money is the reason I was trying to save my dishwasher.
