2nd in line, I stepped up as the person before me left, with my item & cash in hand. 1st clerk turned her back on me & began arranging cigerettes. 2nd clerk was kneeling behind counter. When the 1st clerk did not acknowledge me I said "excuse me" in a quiet voice. The 2nd clerk popped her head up, raised her eyebrows & said in very snotty tone "I'm right here!" She then disappeared behind the counter again. I left my item on the counter & walked away, as I neared the door she called out "that's $1.99" (Apparently she did'nt notice I was leaving empty handed). I bought $40.00 in gas at the next station down the road, and will tell EVERYONE I know how rudely I was treated.
