I signed up for a online advertising campaigned that was explained to be $4.95/month for initial sign up. There was no mention of an increase in monthly fees. I get a call a year later saying that I owe $495 for the year of advertising. What!!! I was never sent a stmt and had not idea I was being charged this!

I refused to pay it. On a follow-up call, the person had me state my name and address so he could send me a bill. Later, a person called me saying I owed the money. He had a recording of me admitting signing up for the service a year previously, but it was the recording I gave a 2 weeks earlier, summer of when I was being sent the bill! Those scammers!!!

I again refused to pay, and he threatened to submit my info to a collection agency. This company better had not win!!!
