Sears
My recent return for repair trip

Miscellaneous

We bought a Huskavarna Chainsaw in Oct. 2011 and by Jan 30th the engine had died. Before this happened the brake went out and four of the bolts rattled out. My husband uses the chainsaw for his work and this has been a huge inconvience. And instead of offering a exchange in store we had to send it out for "repair" it takes 14 days. Thats 14 days my husband is losing work. No loaner was offered, nothing. Then to top all things off, we find out that we have to authorize a $35 limit for repairs. Um I thought the item came with a 2-year warrently, why would we possibly have to pay for repair of an item which died 3 months after purchase. Also Id like to make the comment that the return computer thing is very inconvient for people with learning disabliliys and that we had to wait over 5 mins for help and that was after another assoc. Went and got the man. This was done at the Brunswick, Me store and the clerk was Larry D. It seems we inturrupted his texting perhaps. I will not make any further major purchases with sears due to there return/repair policy. This is the second time we have had issues. The first time we bought a cheaper model chainsaw and bought the warrenty, ended up having to ship it out wait 3 weeks for a gift card for a new one.
