Austin, Texas I Had the Worst Attorney I've Ever Seen

I made the mistake of hiring Wayne Wright's Austin Office to handle my social security disability claim. I had been before and specifically requested my case not be assigned to Harold Phillips. Janice Corbin, a very capable and professional attorney was assigned my case and I liked her. The legal assistants work hard to collect all your records and would call once a month. Problem: A week before my hearing and with no notice Harold Phillips was assigned to my case. He was an hour late for our pre-hearing conference and was mumbling about family problems he was experiencing. He had no idea what my case was about and very obviously had not looked at my file. He said he would call me Friday before my hearing on Tuesday to prepare me for the administrative hearing.By the questions he was asking me, it was apparent that he still had not even looked at my file. Thank God, at the hearing he didn't say anything other than my name and the doctor from Social Security had read my medical records and declared me disabled and unable to work. There are many reputable Social Security case attorneys in Austin, but the Law Offices of Wayne Wright is not one of them.
