What a joke they let him go again...

I finally thought I was getting somewhere with Wayne County FOC. After getting no support since my divorce in 1992 (my ex owes $95834.17) I finally got them to send my case to the prosecutors office for a felony warrant. When they finally arrested him 8 months later I was not notified until the day of his hearing even though they had held him in custody for 3 weeks prior. I was notified by a voice mail from the prosectors office saying if I was not in court in an hour my case would be dismissed and that I had obviously ignored my notice to appear. I was flabbergasted I had know idea any of this was going or I would have been there.

I have been waiting for this for 11 years and leave it to them to screw it up. I received my notice to appear the day after my ex-husbands hearing alot of good it did me. I missed my day in court because they couldn't get a letter in the mail on time. Well it turned out that my case did not get dismissed and my ex ended up on probation bla bla bla. Heres the real kicker my ex's bond was suppose to be $20,000 cash to get out of jail. This is a man who has never willingly paid a penny of support. They let him out without paying anything.

My kid's lose again. It has been over a month now since all this went on. He was suppose to pay $125.00 a week for two kids and we have not seen a penny. It makes me sick that he can get away with this scott free while I work two jobs to support mt kid's. Wayne County is so screwed up it will probably take me another 11 years to get through to them again. Do real people actually work there??? I know they don't answer the phones and who has time to take off of work to keep going down there. Not me I have kids to support.
