My elderly mother was returning home to southern Ireland and asked for assistance as she cannot see the boards with flight details very well. The staff were not very nice and she asked if she could go off and wander so she could have something to eat and drink, and she was treated like a child by the person at the desk telling her to just sit down. My mother had had nothing to eat or drink since breakfast.By the time she was taken to the plane and boarded she was very distressed and burst into tears. Maybe your staff could do with more customer training as I think this was so unacceptable and to have a bit more empathy with passengers. Because of this my mother is now going to rely on fellow passengers to give her the information and that's not right either as she did this a couple of months ago and missed her flight...
