After being a customer of Kay's for a year and spending hundreds of dollars there I purchased a wedding band for my fiance. Beautiful bolt shaped ring with diamonds. The first time I sent it to get polished they ruined it. There are high shine and brushed sections which they ground down. They replaced it. But when I sent it in again they totally ruined it. Again they ground it down so back that there was no distinct corners on the bolt any more. Their response was that the policy only states the ring has to be in wearable condition and they are not out of their policy. And since they had already replaced it once they said they were not at fault and weren't responsible for replacing it a second time. After threatening them they found another one, the last one in the whole company from another state. However, it's the wrong size and can not be sized. They made us accept it or keep the ruined ring. Obviously we took the new ring but no longer do business there. I am devasted and hurt that Kay does not respect their customers. Especially after I dropped literally hundreds of dollars there. I have purchased so much jewelry there.
